Come see a wide variety of animals demonstrate natural behaviors that will amaze and inspire you. From the incredible mimicking ability of parrots to the powerful elegance of a cheetah, the Wildlife Show is education through entertainment in every sense of the term. Experienced wildlife trainers will dispel many of the myths and misconceptions concerning wildlife while providing a unique window into their fascinating world.

Diego Meet and Greet
The star of Nick Jr.’s Go, Diego, Go!, one of the top pre-school shows on commercial television, will be having meet and greets daily at our NEW! Amazon and Beyond exhibit. Come meet him and take a picture!

Meet the Zookeeper
A great way to see our animals in action! At these zookeeper talks (located at their respective exhibits), you can witness our animals eating their favorite treats and learn about them from their keepers. It's the perfect opportunity to ask the questions you've always wanted answered about your favorite animal.

Zoo Scene Investigations - help solve animal mysteries! Get up close and personal with small animals and zookeepers at the Children's Zoo stage. Presentations often feature local wildlife, and provide opportunities to touch and learn.

Asia or Africa Safari Tram Tours
Narrated tour of Asia or Africa along the public walkway. Experience entertaining and fascinating information on the Zoo's animal collection. Every hour departing from Main Station.

Humpy's Camel Rides
Camel rides are available for $5/ride from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily. High a top a graceful camel, riders experience the traditional form of transportation used by the desert people of Africa and Asia for thousands of years. Meet Charlie, Fluffy, and Randy, the three trained dromedary camels that you can hop on! Decide which boy is your favorite, each have different personalities and range in age.
Wildlife Carousel
The Zoo Miami Wildlife Carousel is a 36-foot wooden carousel featuring 30 hand-carved, custom-made animals and two chariots. Many of the animals represent endangered species, including a cheetah, rhinoceros and baby gorilla.
The Zoo Miami Wildlife Carousel is reminiscent of the hundreds of wooden carousels built across the country during the "golden age" of carousels (1885- 1925).
