Why are we offering 50% off a Gift?

Consider it a referral program, a holiday special or just a gift from us to you (and from you to a friend!) The Zoological Society of Florida is committed to providing access to Zoo Miami in order to engage the community in wildlife conservation and education programs. Through this promotion, we hope that our 15,000 member households will consider introducing the zoo and our mission to their friends and family by means of giving them an affordable and exciting holiday gift. We appreciate all of our members who take pride in the experience and value the Annual Pass offers and hope that they share their positive experiences with others. We hope you enjoy this special offer and we’ll see you at the zoo.

Discount Rules and Details

  • Promotion will run from November 26 through December 20, 2012 at 11:59 PM EST
  • Purchase must be made online at shop.zoomiami.org/save using the PROMO CODE ZOOGIFT
    OR purchased with Member Service staff at Zoo Miami.
  • Any one that buys or renews an Annual Pass at regular price will be eligible to purchase a 2nd Annual Pass of equal or lesser value as a gift.
    • Discount will apply to the Annual Pass with the lowest price.
      • Example:  if you purchase an Individual Annual Pass ($50) for yourself and a Family Annual Pass ($119) as a gift, you must pay full price for the Family level and 50% off the Individual level. Your total would be $119 for family + $25 for Individual = $144
  • If a member purchased an Annual Pass prior to November 26 and wants a discount on a Gift Annual Pass , we will accommodate requests from members that purchased Annual Passes on or after October 1, 2012:

  • Regular price is defined as the base price of Individual at $50, Dual at $69 or Family at $119. Add a guest option will not be discounted.
  • Gift promo cannot be combined with other offers or used for 2-year Annual Passes.
  • Cannot be used to purchase a Gift Annual Pass for an individual residing in the same household or address. Must be purchased for a separate party.

Gift Annual Pass Delivery

  • Gift Annual Passes will be a printed card placed in a nicely printed gift envelope (based on availability).
  • The Gift Annual Pass becomes active after the gift card is redeemed. Gift must be redeemed within 60 days of purchase.
  • ZSF cannot guarantee delivery by mail before Christmas but can make Gift Annual Passes available for pick-up by Dec. 23. 2012. Member Service will work to ensure all gifts are printed and mailed as a priority.
  • Members may request delivery method at time of purchase or make notes in the notes/comments section.
    • Option 1: Gift Annual Passes may be picked-up in park by Dec. 23 during normal operating hours from 9:30 AM – 5 PM
    • Option 2: Gift Annual Passes will be mailed to gift recipient.
    • Option 3: Gift Annual Passes will be mailed to gift giver.
