The Zoological Society of Florida presents “MUSIC OF THE AMERICAS” at Zoo Miami's Amazon and Beyond Exhibit now through April 2013.
After enjoying a day strolling around Zoo Miami’s beautiful pathways, gazing at more than 2,000 amazing animals in their natural habitats, and enjoying the refreshing shade provided by our 1,200 trees and plants, there is no better way to relax than at our Amazon and Beyond’s Village Plaza, where you can sway to rhythmic samba, dance with exotic Brazilian dancers, sit and relax to the soothing sounds of South American flutes, woodwinds, and harp, or join an interactive drum circle set to the music of the Andes.
Amazon Dancers – These amazing performers will showcase the beauty and grace of their music and dances. Vibrate in a drum circle with Fernando.
Roberto Perera & Jorge Alfano - These two talented musicians present their beautiful South American music played on harps and flutes. Witness the delightful music produced by the hands of virtuoso harp player Roberto Perera and the multi-talented Jorge Alfano on flutes and strings instruments. This will be a very soothing and entertaining show for listeners of all ages.
The Jorge Alfano Trio – They will soothe you with cool Brazilian jazz.
