Winter break daze is designed to immerse children into the world of wildlife and conservation. Join us for a fun-filled learning adventure that includes live animal presentations, visits to animal exhibits, Q & A sessions with zookeepers, animal enrichment activities, and much more!

Enrollment is on a daily basis or on all 5˝ day basis:

5˝ Day rate: $195 $209
Daily rate: (except Dec 31) $38 $42
- Decembert 31 $19 $21

DROP OFF, PICK UP, AND EXTENDED CARE:

  • Morning drop off: 8:30-8:50 AM Camp starts promptly @ 9:00 AM!
  • Afternoon pick up: 3:00-3:20 PM
  • Extended care: 3:00 – 5:00 PM (not available on Dec 31). Cost: $8 per day per child.

Note: Pre-registration is required and space is limited. For more information, call the Education Department at 305- 255-5551.

  • A confirmation letter will be sent by email or fax when processing is completed. Please allow a minimum of 2-3 business days for processing.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:

  • Refunds may be requested until Monday, December 23rd, 3:00 PM and are subject to a $15 cancellation fee. After Monday, no credits or refunds will be issued.

ANIMAL FAMILIES

From preparing for their babies arrival to working hard to keep them out of trouble until they can be on their own, starting a family is serious business for many animal species. Your child will have a lot of fun at Winter Break Daze learning about curious animal families and their little ones!

CATS

Cats are fascinating animals! After all, we are talking about tigers, lions, and other fabulous felines. This day of cat encounters will be so filled with fun that will make everyone want to rollover, stretch and roar like a real one.

MUNCHING AWAY

If you were an elephant, you’d eat over 300 pounds of veggies and hay every day, and if you were a crocodile at the Zoo you’d have to wait a few days until your next meal! Join us and to take a look at some unusual behaviors of hungry, very hungry animals.
