In this Animal Matters session children will explore the remarkable ways some animals adapt to their habitat, utilizing traits such as their colors, coverings, and claws, to overcome daily survival challenges.

Children will enjoy being “birders” in this Animal Matters session, as they search for the elusive banded rail, the stunning fire-tufted barbet and many more fascinating feathered friends at the Wings of Asia exhibit! Kids will have an exciting time discovering why some birds sing such melodious songs, have such magnificent colors, and how they fly!

Cost per child, no charge for one adult:
Members: Non-Members: Single Session $15 $20 Three Sessions $25 $37 Spaces are limited and pre-registration is required for everyone attending sessions.
Add $5 per person to the program fee for non-members to include Zoo admission for the day. -
Completed Registration form must be submitted with payment by fax, mail or email. Make checks payable to Zoological Society of FL (or ZSF).
