Wildlife Tours
Your personal guide. A comfortable golf cart. What better way to tour and discover all Zoo Miami has to offer? The wildlife tour is conducted through the lushly landscaped public walkway and we guarantee that, with more than 2,000 animals and over 1,200 plants, you’ll learn and see things you never thought you would. The best part? You can customize your itinerary to fit your needs! However, if you can’t make up your mind on which exciting experience you’d like, not to worry. We know our zoo inside out and will create a life-long, memorable adventure for you!
Tours accommodate up to five people. Minimum of seven days advance reservation is required and depends on availability. For reservations, call the Group Sales Department at (305) 251-0400 ext. 84993 or 84951. You may also e-mail your request to cottom@miamidade.gov.

Guided Walking Tour
Schedule a walking tour to selected areas of the Zoo led by our trained experienced guides. Tours vary in length and can complement a classroom program (not required). Please make reservations at least 30 days in advance by contacting the ZSF Education Department at 305.255.5551.

Zoogeographic Walking Tours
Schedule a walking tour to one of the zoo’s geographic areas, Asia, Africa or Amazon and Beyond. Each tour is led by a knowledgeable guide and includes information on animal characteristics and conservation.

Pineland Walking Tour
Walk through the fascinating native landscape and learn about the rare pine rockland habitat, its geology, fire dependency, and historic plants. Comfortable, sturdy shoes are recommended for walking on rocky terrain. About 20-30 minutes.
